What is AI plan review and what does it check?

What it checks

• Incomplete notes, references, and specification mismatches.

How it works

The tool reads the text layer across the set, applies the discipline and code context you choose, and returns findings as a list — each linked to the sheet it came from. Citations matter: a flag you cannot verify is noise, so every finding points back to its source.

What it is not

AI plan review is assistive, not authoritative. It does not stamp drawings, does not replace the authority having jurisdiction, and the engineer or architect of record remains responsible for the design. Think of it as a tireless second reader that never misses a cross-reference — the judgement call is still yours.

Requirements and scale

Native PDFs with a text layer work directly; scanned sets need OCR first so the text is readable. For whole folders of sheets, the folder-level AI Plan Check runs the same review across the set rather than one document at a time.
