How it works

1

Drop in images

Up to 10 at a time — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP.

2

Set the quality

Move the slider; lower means smaller but rougher.

3

Download each result

Each file shows its size and percentage saved.

Pick a quality level and compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images to a fraction of their original size — with before/after sizes shown per file so you can see the trade-off instead of guessing. PNG inputs can optionally be converted to JPG for much smaller files when you do not need transparency.

Lossy compression is a trade: lower quality means smaller files and more visible artifacts, especially on text and flat graphics. The tool re-encodes at your chosen quality; it does not strip metadata selectively or optimize palettes — for extreme compression on simple graphics, a dedicated optimizer may go further.

Questions, answered

75 is a good default for photos. Screenshots with text often want 85+. Below 50 the artifacts get noticeable.
