Design Assumptions and Limitations
Design Assumptions and Limitations Index 665-001 provides offset, height, and orientation requirements for Pushbutton Pedestrian Detectors used with standard mounting options (i.e., Concrete Poles, Steel Strain Pole, Posts, or Pedestal Mounted). See Detail “A” and Detail “B” for proper orientation (i.e., pushbutton and sign installed parallel to crossing direction). Ensure that a level landing is provided at each pushbutton in accordance with FDM 222 .
